After his resignation, he found the opportunity to establish a first class shipping agency providing services for ships calling at Bandırma. There was no such service at that time, and companies based in Istanbul had to send their own personnel, which was both costly and inefficient. He had a vision for how this service should be given, and in 1946, he decided to set up his own company named A.Rıza Kınay Shipping Agencies and Trading. Around the same time, he acquired the agency rights of the boron mining company that transports borate from Bandırma. Fulfilling his duty as an agency with the highest quality of service, he eliminated the need for his company to send personnel from abroad to supervise the loading on the ship, helping them make great savings.
